Brandmongo (“Brandmongo”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit brandmongo.com or engage with us as a client, partner, or job applicant — and what we do with it.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us — your name, work email, company, phone number, message content, and any other detail you submit through our contact form or in direct conversation.
  • Information collected automatically — IP address, browser/device data, pages visited, referring URL, and other usage analytics. We use this to improve the site and detect abuse.
  • Information from third parties — analytics (e.g. Plausible, Google Analytics), advertising platforms when you interact with our campaigns, and publicly available data on companies and contacts.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry and tailor a proposal.
  • To deliver agreed services and report on results.
  • To send occasional newsletters (only if you opt-in).
  • To improve the site, our content, and our services.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations under Indian law.

3. Lawful basis (GDPR + DPDP Act)

For EU and UK visitors we process personal data on the basis of either (a) your explicit consent, (b) the legitimate-interest basis where the processing is needed to operate our business, or (c) the necessity of performing a contract. For Indian residents, our processing complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

4. Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers we use to operate (e.g. Google Workspace, Resend for email, GCP for hosting), and only as needed to deliver the service. We bind each provider to confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Retention

We keep contact-form submissions for up to 24 months. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for Indian tax-compliance purposes. You can request deletion of personal data at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

  • Access — request a copy of personal data we hold.
  • Correction — fix anything inaccurate.
  • Deletion — ask us to erase your data, subject to legal retention.
  • Objection / opt-out — tell us to stop marketing communications.
  • Portability — receive data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7. Security

We host on Google Cloud (asia-south1), use TLS everywhere, encrypt data at rest, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and rotate credentials on a defined schedule. No system is bullet-proof, but we treat your data with the same care we treat our clients’ budgets.

9. Changes

We’ll update this policy when we add or change a material practice. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect any change.
